The airport has three terminals. Our flights depart and arrive at Terminal 2.
Driving directions
The airport is located roughly 12 kilometres south of the city centre. Take the Barcelona ring road and exit at Pata Sur. The access road to the airport is the C-31-Castelldefels Barcelona expressway, which connects with the C-32-Sitges Barcelona expressway.
Taxi
Taxis are available outside the arrival halls of all the terminals. A ride to Barcelona city centre takes around 30 minutes.
Train
The local train station can be reached via the walkways connecting terminals A and B. Trains depart every half hour, with stops at Sants-Estaçio (17 min), Plaça de Catalunya (23 min), Arc de Triomf (26 min) and Clot-Arago (30 min). Each of these train station connects to a subway line.
A new high speed train running between the airport and Barcelona is currently under construction.
Bus
Aerobus A1 departs every 15 minutes from each terminal, with service to 5 areas in Barcelona (Plaça Espanya, Sants train station, Av. Roma-Urgell, Passeig de Gracia and Plaça Catalunya). This service is run by the Ciutat Comtal-TCC transportation company.
In terminals B and C, there are two bus lines that serve other destinations: Figueres, Girona, Lleida, Reus, Tarragona, Castelldefels, Ribes, Sitges, Rocamar, Roquetes, Vilanova, Cubelles, Cunit, Segur, Calafell and El Vendrell.
From 10:55 PM to 4:11 AM, there is a night bus service (line 106) to Barcelona.
