Remember that passengers can bring only a single piece of hand luggage with them in the cabin and must carry some form of valid identification that contains a picture.

Save time at the airport by checking-in at a Self-service Kiosk whether you are travelling alone or with company, with or without baggage.
Travelers with student, youth, child, couple/family, or senior citizen rates may check-in using the Self-service Kiosks. A document justifying the special rate will be requested before boarding.
Conditions of use :
Same-day round trip
On medium-haul flights in Europe, you can check-in once for a same-day round trip if you travel without luggage. This will eliminate the need for any check-in formalities when you return.
End-to-end check-in
If you have a connecting flight at Paris-Charles de Gaulle 2, you will receive all your boarding passes at once when you depart. You retain them until your final destination. Your baggge is also checked from end to end.
If your flight is overbooked
Like all the major airlines, Air France books more seats than are available on any given flight. Between 20 to 25 % of the passengers who have made a reservation do not show up for the flight they have booked. Overbooking enables us to maintain our attractive fares and to carry millions of additional passengers.
Air France attemps to limit the consequences for our passengers of overbooking by :
Air France was the first company to offer such compensation even if the voluntary passenger eventually leaves on the flight booked. Air France will also suggest rerouting passengers as soon as possible and will assume responsibility for any lodging expenses.
With Internet check-in, you can choose your seat and receive your boarding pass anytime from 30 hours* prior to the departure of your flight. You can also print it at the airport using a Self-service Kiosk or at a check-in counter.
* 24 hours for flights departing from or arriving in Mauritius, Lebanon, Hungary and Delhi.
With online check-in, you can select your seat using a cabin plan, and decide how you will receive your boarding pass. You can choose to :
* to take advantage of the SMS service, your mobile telephone must have an Internet connection.
If you have baggage, check this in at the "e-service - baggage drop-off" counter at the airport before the check-in deadline for your flight. If there is no "e-service - baggage drop-off" counter, please go to the check-in counter for your flight.
If you are traveling without baggage, you can go directly to the boarding gate before the time limit for boarding printed on your boarding pass :
If you do not present yourself by this deadline, your seat will no longer be guaranteed.
